Summer is finally here, the days are hotter and longer which means you have more time to enjoy our latest chef collaboration.

We’ve teamed up with Great British Bake Off extraordinaire Benjamina Ebuehi, who has developed a sensational dessert burger, perfect timing to celebrate National Ice Cream day on Sunday 15thJuly.

Benjamina’s Pistachio Sundae Burger is a lemon curd and cardamom ice cream, sprinkled with chopped pistachios and white chocolate all stuffed with pistachio cream in a brioche bun.

Benjamina started her own food blog after reaching the quarter finals of Great British Bake Off in 2016. The blog, Carrot & Crumb, showcases her favourite recipes, baking tips, life updates and foodie adventures. With her sister, Bonita, she recently founded The Sister Table, a food and lifestyle brand, which hosts brunch clubs and events for millennial women.

Benjamina said: ‘’I’ve always been a fan of the Haché brand and to be asked to develop the recipe for their very first dessert burger was a no brainer for me! It was a fantastic challenge and I’m pleased I’ve managed to create something which is going to help the team at Luminary Bakery as well as give something back to fans of the Haché brand.”
£1 from the sale of each burger will be donated to Luminary Bakery, where Benjamina is an ambassador. The social enterprise based in East London provides training and employment opportunities for vulnerable women.
